MEDIA- a source material containing information, a conveyance through which data is transported. When did the media, ‘the conveyance’, ‘the transporter’ of the news and information, become ‘the news and information’, and not the events, which occur?
Conscripted presentations of the conveyance ‘itself’ as the all-knowing ‘omnipotent authority’ without respect for the data being reported by it! Brings the observers a constructed traducing of the data ‘projecting a given desired inference’.
When the control of thought through the manipulation of presented data and its resulting effect becomes the whole point of the media, what then will be the long-term effect to the observer’s psyche absorbing the traduced data unwittingly?
With the reoccurring and relentless ‘flash bang of shock bombs’ of intimidating sound bite, is flung out like raw meat to the starving masses, by talking heads, to capture the attention of an intellectually diluted commodity, to keep mental continuity obstructed through stringent emotional abuse.
